Sometimes you may feel awful (to be honest, it may happen to you regularly) working with the Sharepoint Designer.
You've just changed something on the site from SPD and expecting to see the changes right here - in the SPD. But seems that nothing hasn't been changed even you re-opened the site.
The answer for this misfortune is simple - clear the SPD Cache (Users\[your user]\AppData\Local\Microsoft\WebsiteCache)
